Savinkin","doi":"10.20291/2079-0392-2023-2-128-134","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.20291/2079-0392-2023-2-128-134","url":null,"abstract":"The article discusses and analyzes the reasons for reducing the operational life of a body suspension unit - the stop-limiter for horizontal movements of a bogie frame, currently used in the design of the mechanical part of most locomotives of the new series. It is demonstrated that during operation, the change in the regulated technological parameters of the stop-limiter occurs at a relatively low mileage of the locomotive, and the current repair technology does not provide for its prompt replacement due to design features. Based on the analysis of the mechanical properties of the materials used, the stress-strain state of a stop pin model was obtained when interacting with a thrust plate. The results of the calculation of the strength of the stop presented in the article show the predominance of plastic deformations in the contact spot with the thrust plate, which justifies the need to use materials with a higher yield strength to achieve a minimum safety factor. The relevance and advantages of using distributed fiber-optic sensors over point (local) sensors for monitoring the state of extended infrastructure facilities are illustrated. The analysis of the peculiar features of the use of fiber-optic sensors for monitoring systems in railway transport associated with various risks (sensitivity, range, etc.), which must be taken into account when developing and implementing monitoring systems. The paper is devoted to the study of formation of the amplitude-frequency spectrum of the current of the contact network feeders during the transition process. On the basis of the field measurements carried out at the AC operating traction substations of the Far Eastern Railway, the analysis of the harmonic components of the current was performed. Full-scale measurements were carried out by a measuring and computing complex having a discrete Fourier transform function in its software. The study of changes in the amplitudes of the harmonic components of the current and their increments at short time intervals was carried out, on the basis of which their numerical characteristics are calculated. The distinctive features of formation of harmonic current spectra in the short-circuit mode and with a sharp increase in the load of the traction network are revealed. The issues of violations in operation of technical means of electric trains are considered, the most unreliable components and parts that negatively affect the operation of motor-car rolling stock as a whole are identified. The main causes of premature failures of batteries as one of the most unreliable devices on electric trains have been established. The design, the principle of operation of the battery, its functions are given, the reasons for the premature failure of this unit are considered. As a method of increasing reliability of batteries, the authors propose the use of a device that can increase reliability of this node by eliminating the main causes of failures, explains the scheme and principle of operation of the proposed device, reveals the features of its operation. Special attention is paid to the adjustment characteristics of the proposed unit, its main functions and advantages in its use are revealed. It is shown that the solution to this problem involves the inclusion of all stages of the product life cycle, from design to repair and restoration. At the design stage, the solution is achieved through the use of promising brands of materials for wheelset axles, the assignment of optimal parameters of quality and accuracy, or resizing. It is shown that the most promising is to ensure optimal parameters of accuracy and quality of the executive surfaces of wheel-set axles at the stages of manufacture and repair (restoration). One of the most effective tools is the process approach. Models in the form of contextual diagrams based on the IDEF0 approach were used in this paper. The structural decomposition of the process of ensuring the quality and durability of wheelset axles at the stages of their life cycle is carried out, subprocesses which characterize the stages of the life cycle of the wheelset axis from the point of view of ensuring its quality are highlighted. The selected sub-processes were also divided into smaller components. With the help of AnyLogic software, a simulation model for evaluating the feasibility of parking space placement has been developed. The proposed simulation model simulates the movement of vehicles on a section of the road network (RN) and determines the number of cars that could not park due to the lack of parking spaces. Three calculators are built into the simulation model. The first calculator calculates the required number of parking spaces based on standard values, depending on the purpose of the object near which the parking space is planned. The second calculator allows you to determine the preliminary cost of the project, depending on the type of parking space. The third calculator evaluates the efficiency of the project, changes such indicators as the required number of cars, the average time spent by cars in the system under study, their average speed, the number of car stops. In works [1–3] onedimensional and multi-dimensional flows of polytropic and normal gas adjacent to vacuum were investigated. In works [4, 5] symmetric swirl upward flows of polytropic gas around of the vertical located contact characteristic separating the gas and vacuum were considered. It is shown that even in case the gas abuts vacuum, it swirls counterclockwise. It is also found that the vortex itself moves westward, shifting slightly northward. The present paper considers the evolution of the asymmetric gas flow at the initial time continuously adjacent to vacuum. An equation system of gas dynamics under the action of gravity and Coriolis force is adopted as a mathematical model. For the equation system of gas dynamics the initial boundary value problem is set on the multiplicity characteristic of four.
