A new frequency warping function is proposed for this purpose. This function provides a bending function that can proper orientation and depth of the EEG signal frequency content. In this way a generalized filter set of was designed. With the help of this filter set, cepstrum features are extracted. In classification stage, Support Vector Machines (SVM) are employed because of its good performance at binary classification. According to the experimental results, the highest correct classification rate(accuracy) is 98.40%. It is commonly used in motion recognition, treatment of neuromuscular disorders and prosthetic hand control. In this study, classification of EMG signals obtained from 6 different hand shapes of holding object was proposed. At first Short Time Fourier Transform of the EMG signal were evaluated to obtain their Time-Frekans representation. After than these T-F images were segmented and their mean values were evaluated to reduce the dimension of the images. Local Receptive Fields based Extreme Learning Machines (ELM-LRF) used to classification of these hand shapes of holding object. The relationship between departments in layout is always important. In this study, data mining technique is used for analyzing relations among departments and then association rules are obtained. Determining closeness relationships between the departments in facility are often ambiguous and require expert opinions. In such cases, a fuzzy component emerges in the facility layout problem. Hence, fuzzy logic is widely used to address ambiguous problems. Association rules is converted by using defuzzification approach to crisp values used facility layout problem solution in this study. Facility layout problems are considered to be NP-Hard (Nondeterministic-Polynomial-Hard) optimization problems. That is, definite solution approaches are limited in solving large-scale problem examples. For heuristic approaches are frequently used to improve the layout, simulated annealing approach is used in this study. To improve facility layout planning, simulated annealing approach is carried out via code written in Visual Basic 2012. The obtained feature vectors are classified by Support Vector Machines (SVM). Results are given for 26 channels, all recorded channels, and for 10 most effective channels. Correlation based feature selection based algorithm is used for choosing the most effective channels. Decreasing the number of channels without compromising the accuracy, is an important issue for real time applications for which a short analysis time is crucial. Fiber nonlinearities can be mitigated using machine learning algorithms that are a nonlinear decision classifier. In this study, C-ELM based nonlinear equalizer is proposed for a MQAM CO-OFDM. MQAM CO-OFDM systems are simulated by designing a Monte Carlo simulation. One of these systems are biomedical imaging systems. Many studies are being conducted for a new image processing techniques to improve the performance of this systems. Noise reduction is one of the important steps in biomedical image processing. In this study, noise reduction was performed to emphasize coronary arteries on x-ray heart angiography images. For this purpose, the original angiography images were smoothed using non-local averages. Thus, insignificant groups of pixels in the image described as noise has been removed. Then, the boundaries of coronary arteries are sharpened with first and second derivatives of image based combined enhancement method. It is seen that the mean square error values obtained by the proposed method are more successful when compared with the noise reduction results obtained using the Wiener filter. The system is designed to be composed of 4 steps: data collection, preprocessing, feature extraction and signature verification. The pre-processing phase is completed in 4 steps: graying, normalization, thresholding and image skeleton. Normalization is performed by nearest neighbor interpolation. The thresholding step is performed with the Otsu algorithm. In the last stage; The skeleton of the image is performed using the Zhang algorithm. In the third stage of the system, the feature extraction step, the Hu's invariant moments, regional features and the discrete wavelet transform were used. The generated data set has been tested separately for the selected training algorithms and for signature recognition and signature verification.
