During the formation of awareness of sexual orientation, gay individuals want to capture absolute information about their self concept; therefore, they have high level of need for absolute truth. It has been observed that gay men with low level of self-concept clarity use non-functional problem-solving methods and they show symptoms of intense stress because of their sexual orientation. The main aim of this study is to investigate the mediator role of self-concept clarity on the relationship between the need for absolute truth, problem solving and symptoms of stress in gay men. The participants of the present study consisted of 200 gay men aged between 20 and 50 years old. Demographic Information Form, SelfConcept Clarity Scale, Need for Absolute Truth Scale, Stress Self-Assessment Checklist and ProblemSolving Inventory were applied to the participants. La propagande joue un rôle important en engendrant les camps du conflit. L’application des stratégies de propagande par l’entremise de media démontre que c’est le media qui est la première source pour accéder à l’information. C’est la raison pour laquelle les recherches qui sont faits sur la représentation des événements, des crises ou des guerres sont importantes afin de comprendre le processus de formation des opinions et de l’opinion publique. Pour mieux comprendre le rôle du media, il faut examiner les messages donnés, la structure du contenu de l’information et le contexte de l’information. Ainsi, le contenu du texte de l’information, sa manchette et sa structure influencent et orientent le commentaire de l’audience. Dans cette étude, on essayera montrer qu’il existe un lien entre les cadres contournés par le media et l’opinion du public sur ces sujets parce que le media n’a pas seulement la fonction d’informer mais aussi d’influencer. Dans ce contexte, le sujet du traitement dans cette étude sera le Hamas, le vainqueur des élections Palestiniens en 2006. It is one of the channels in which we find answers to the questions of how modern identities and belonging are defined, how aspects of life will be made visible and how they will be transferred to the memory of future generations. In this article photography is positioned as a tool of a sociological perspective. In the modernization of the 19 century, photography was perceived as the object of inquiry about the transformations spreading through the whole of social life. In this context, we propose the photograph was one of the ways of explaining capitalist economies that are taking shape and the functioning of social power. The debates on the social functions of images currently in progress arose in the early stages of image production. Questioning the technologies of image production of this period enables us to understand the new technologies coming together in the past. It nourishes our discussions on the social functions of distribution networks. In this context, we aim to make connections between the first examples of technically generated images and the debates continuing to the present day, by opening up the visual regime, rethinking the concepts of the observer subject. These links draw attention to the relationship between the unchanging images of the image market and the construction of social memory. Re-evaluating the meaning of photographic records as documents enables us to see continuities in their value of use. In particular, images of violence and wars, which obtain a large footprint in the media, have had a strong influence in the formation of social justice.
