Le but est d’essayer de dégager des caractéristiques communes qui doivent alerter le clinicien et faire entreprendre sans tarder le bilan étiologique et la mise en route du traitement.</p></div><div><p>This focus on acquired oculomotor paralysis (AOP) takes the approach of avoiding a classical, topographical approach to AOP in favor of a more global approach to positive and differential diagnosis. La prise en charge orthoptique, en proposant une aide prismatique régulièrement adaptée puis supprimée, en consolidant la vision binoculaire, permet de restaurer une meilleure qualité de vie.</p></div><div><p>Mrs. I (47 years old) victim of a post embolization stroke, describes a diplopia that leads to a disability. Le cas de Mme D. illustre parfaitement l’intérêt de faire rechercher systématiquement un syndrome inflammatoire devant toute paralysie oculomotrice.</p></div><div><p>The case of Mrs. D. shows a recurrence of episodes of oculomotor paralysis explored by magnetic resonance imaging for several years. However, after the fourth paralysis, a biological assessment completed the exploration and pointed to a GCA. Occlusion et prismation sont dans ce cas souvent mal supportées et face au peu d’évolution à plus ou moins long terme, d’autres traitements sont mis en place afin de permettre au patient de récupérer une qualité de vie essentielle au quotidien.</p></div><div><p>Total paralysis of the VI leads the orthoptist to consider various solutions in order to relieve the very disabling diplopia. Auparavant, le dépistage était réalisé grâce aux angiographies, mais, depuis l’apparition de l’OCT et de l’OCT-angiographie, il est désormais possible de détecter et de suivre les néovaisseaux de manière non invasive.</p></div><div><p>Exudative ARMD is a pathology that affects more than 8 % of the french population with an increased risk beyond the age of 50.
