We show that this phenomenon can also occur in diffusion flames when the Lewis numbers are small. Abstract

This paper is a continuation of our work on edge-flames in premixed combustion. An edge-flame is a two-dimensional structure constructed from a one-dimensional configuration that has two stable solutions (bistable equilibrium).
