To date, a bibliometric evaluation of scholarly work referring to Nurse Practitioners, has not been located in the published literature.</p><p><strong>Objective: </strong>With the aim of identifying the top 100 cited articles in the Nurse Practitioner domain, the Scopus™ database was searched for Nurse Practitioner studies during 2007-2021. Abstract
Background: Development of the Nurse practitioner role and the specialisation of practice is an increasing focus in healthcare. To date, a bibliometric evaluation of scholarly work referring to Nurse Practitioners, has not been located in the published literature.
