Abstract

The scale of heat release rate, the maximum temperature at the top and the distribution of the top temperature along the longitudinal direction and the tangential temperature of the fire source are analyzed and studied by carrying out a 1:3.3 shrinkage cable tunnel fire model experiment. Experiments show that the burning time of cables is 23 % and mass loss is 75 % between 200 s and 600 s. The variation of temperature at the top of cable tunnel with time and space is analyzed.
