Patients with Asthma May Develop Cardiovascular Diseases during Covid-19 Lockdown Due to Physical Inactivity

This is an open access article distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 License INTRODUCTION Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is one of the large family of viruses that lead to respiratory viral infections, it ranges from a common cold to severe conditions, such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).[1] Covid-19 is a disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), it was first discovered in Wuhan city (Hubei, China) on the 31st of December, 2019,[2] and was declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on 11 March 2020.[3]
