Research on Manufacturing Business Model Based on Internet of Things——Take the Shipbuilding Industry as an Example

Abstract

With the continuous advancement of smart manufacturing strategy and the gradual deepening of corporate transformation, the application value of the Internet of Things has become increasingly prominent in industrial transformation. This article takes the shipbuilding industry as an example to study the application of Internet of things technology in the shipbuilding industry. The Internet of Things makes the entire life cycle of ship design, construction, operation and dismantling more intelligent and green, however, the shipbuilding industry in China still has problems with the design and production capacity of high-tech, high value-added ships and serious waste of pollution. This paper studies the mechanism of technological innovation, environmental dynamics, and business model in the shipbuilding industry under the context of the Internet of Things, and proposes specific countermeasures and suggestions for the development of shipbuilding industry in the context of the Internet of Things from both the government and the corporate level.
