The model of the PV system is analyzed in detail. Then the novel MPPT controller including a fuzzy logic control and an intelligent scanning method is proposed. Abstract
This study presents an intelligent fuzzy controller for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) in partially shaded photovoltaic (PV) systems. Conventional MPPT methods may fail to track the actual maximum power point under partially shaded conditions, because multiple local peaks can be existed on the power-voltage characteristic curve.
