Abstract

This article supports the need for information literacy instruction for business students at the graduate level, and describes the use of a collaborative framework for integrating information literacy into a graduate finance course and for assessing the results. The framework provided a guide for a more structured and fuller collaboration between the librarian and the classroom instructor. A checklist for assessing learning outcomes was also developed and was an important instrument for evaluating student performance.
