Method: In this study, a longitudinal pattern is designed by using 85 students' scores of Culture Fair Intelligence Test (CFIT) (evaluated in 5th grade), Primary Mental Abilities Ages (PMAA) (evaluated in 7th grade) and Transition From Basic To Secondary Education (TEOG) (evaluated in 8th grade). Findings and Conclusion: Findings show that there is positively meaningful relation between PMAA and TEOG scores. In established regression model, the scores of PMAA is seemed to explain the 14% of the variance. This finding is thought to prove that TEOG is based on the skill of reading comprehension rather than reasoning. Abstract
