Abstract
In this research we are investigating the possibility of using alternative signal sampling and reconstruction strategies based on the optimal signal sampling and reconstruction theory that, if successful, would require a smaller number of data points for signal recovery, reduce data transmission bandwidth required for wireless data transmission and lower overall power consumption of a sensor.
