Study on Intensity of Coal and Gas Outburst

Abstract

The indexes of forecasting coal and gas outburst intensity are presented according to the spherical shell losing stability theory about outburst mechanism.In laboratory,outburst simulated tests have been carried out for many times.And the linear equation which can be used to forecast outburst intensity has been established by means of pluralistic regression.It is proved by the tests that the outburst intensity can be forecasted by the expansion energy of initial releasing gas from coal and by the thickness of soft coal.
