Research on the Development Trend of Internet of Things —— Based on Bibliometrics and Visualization Analysis

Abstract

Bibliometrics and knowledge map visualization methods were used to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze the recent 15 years of academic papers in the field of Internet of Things in the web of science(WOS) database. From the five aspects of time series, national and regional distribution, journal distribution, high-yield authors, research hotspot and research frontiers, we analyzed the overall research status of academic papers in the field of Internet of Things in the past 15 years in order to understand and grasp the development trends of the Internet of Things. This will have important implications for understanding and analyzing the development trends in the field of Internet of Things and promoting the deepening and internationalization of research in the field of Internet of Things.
