At present, the rated voltage of gas-filled plug-in AC cable terminations is up to 550 kV and a lot of engineering and application experience shows that the gas-filled plug-in cable terminations have the benefits of no isolation liquids, shorter installation time and compacter design. In order to introduce the advantages of plug-in cable termination of AC power systems for DC power systems, it is necessary to carry out simulation modeling research on plug-in DC cable terminations.
