Abstract

A dehydration reaction of poly(methacrylic acid) (PMAA) with hemin, that is, a preparation of hemin-PMAA anhydride, is described. PMAA was able to bear up to 1.8 mol% of porphyrin rings. The kinetics of the reaction is discussed
