Abstract

Currently, the gradual scarcity of traditional fuels, the rise of fuel prices and the environmental pollution are social issues of concern. The study is implemented to investigate the efficiency of using solar panel and braking system as recharging sources to a commercially electric motorcycle. The simultaneous combination of the two additionally recharging approaches will help the electric motorcycle to have a longer working distance as compared to original one. The result contributes to exploiting electric motorcycle effectively. In addition, the success of this work will partly contribute to energy saving and reduction of environmental  pollution in transportation system.
