The issues of the reasons for the unpreparedness of the Russian society for terrorist threats at the beginning of the sovereign development of the Russian Federation are being resolved, gradual adaptation to the tasks of countering terrorism both inside the country and beyond its borders, on the territory of countries friendly to Russia, is being traced. The article identifies the zones most vulnerable to terrorist influence, structures a narrative reflecting the Russian view of the evolution of terror in recent years, outlines the patterns of involvement of international terrorism in the arsenal of broader hybrid aggressions in the modern world, including ones against our country. Abstract
The article is devoted to the historical analysis of terrorism at the present stage of the formation of the system of international relations.
