BRAKING TORQUE TRANSFER SIMULATION BY DYNAMIC PROGRAMMING

Abstract

It is very difficult to evaluate the proportion of braking torque using the conventional method, because the braking effectiveness at each wheel changes independently with the passage of time as a result of use of a vehicle. This phenomenon is herein called "braking torque transfer". To solve these problems a method has been developed in which the factors causing braking torque transfer are examined and combined by a statistical method and programmed, thereby permitting more accurate evaluation in a shorter period of time.
