Notes on Russian-Mongolian Trade and Economic Relations at the Beginning of the XX Century

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the history of Russian-Mongolian trade and economic relations in the early XX century. The development of Russian-Mongolian trade and economic relations is shown, the volume of trade, the ratio of trade turnover, the study of the main directions of trade routes, expeditions to study the Mongolian market are considered. The rivalry of Russian, Chinese and foreign entrepreneurs in the struggle for the Mongolian market is shown. The positions of Russian statesmen, trade circles and the public on the development of the prospects for Russian-Mongolian trade are revealed.
