Abstract

In order to solve the control system designing problem in a complex hardware-in-the-loop simulation, on the basis of analyzing the IDEF model, a new method of the control system analysis was presented. By putting into several levels of control structure, a control system model for the production process can be constituted by using IDEF0*. The method provides analysis of the relationship between control parameters, and the framework and strategy of solving the optimal design and control, and the systematic method of optimal design. With this method, a control system was designed for the hardware-in-the-loop simulation in the distillation process as an example, and the effectiveness of this method was illustrated.
