Abstract

Este artículo de investigación describe el diseño y aplicación de un instrumento de evaluación del pensamiento crítico desde la escritura académica como método para desarrollar la reflexión pedagógica. A partir de una metodología cuantitativa,con alcance descriptivo, se analizaron 265 ensayos de estudiantes chilenos de pedagogía. La capacidad de relacionar de forma consistente y coherente los argumentos, y la habilidad para articular el punto de vista propio con otras perspectivas sistemáticamente, resultaron los mayores predictores en la elaboración de un texto escrito con un alto nivel de pensamiento crítico (Martin & White, 2003; Snow & Uccelli, 2009; Youngs & Bird, 2010).
