Agrophysics and epigenetics: tasks for interdisciplinary researches

Abstract

Epigenetics is one of the most rapidly expanding fields of research in the life sciences. One direction of epigenetics is devoted to plant breeding. Today it has become obvious that agrophysical approaches and methods will find a place not only in the improvement of agricultural technologies, but could also revolutionize breeding technologies. In this paper several tasks for interdisciplinary researches related to the application of agrophysics for epigenetics researches are formulated.
