Abstract

The University of Cambodia (UC) is forward-looking and committed to academic excellence. It strives to provide quality education for students to develop critical, analytical and creative thinking so they can make well-founded and ethical decisions and be part of an informed citizenry. The University promotes academic excellence at the national, regional, and international levels and responds to the call for interdisciplinary research, teaching and training, by rethinking the structure and purpose of higher education in Cambodia. The International Foundation for Arts and Culture (IFAC) was founded by Dr. Haruhisa Handa as a public service corporation in Tokyo, Japan in 1996 to support and fund charitable activities through various events related to music and the arts. Since its establishment, IFAC has grown to 1,800 individual and corporate memberships, with branch offices in New York, London, and Perth. It strives to promote global cultural exchange and support arts activities beyond the boundaries of nations, languages, and religion. IFAC also assist in the training of artists and musicians. The Asia Leadership Center (ALC) is committed to the development of leadership knowledge, skills, and attitudes in order to build the character of public, private, civil, academic, female, and youth leaders. We provide leaders with the tools needed to act responsibly in the interest of society. The ALC's work is informed by our valued network of eminent leaders, practitioners, and academics and is guided by local, national, and international needs for inspirational and effective leaders to transform all of Asia. The Cambodia Weekly, a not-for-profit, English language newspaper affiliated with The University of Cambodia, licensed in 2006 by the Ministry of Information. The Phnom Penh Post is Cambodia's oldest existing newspaper in any language. The Post was established in July 1992 and was published as a fortnightly until 2008 when with new ownership the publication began publishing on a daily basis. The Post offers comprehensive coverage on local and international politics, economics, business, culture and sports. It …
