Abstract

1960‟lar da ilk ornekleri verilmeye baslanan Cevresel Sanat kapsaminda sehir merkezlerinde, dogada, galerilerde, bahcelerde, denizde, nehirde aklimiza gelebilecek cevremiz olarak da tanimlayabilecegimiz pek cok mekanda projeler uretilmistir. Amac dogaya karsi gunden gune duyarsizlasmaya baslayan toplumu carpici bir sekilde uyarmak, gormeyi, dusundurmeyi ve yeniden dogaya yonlendirmeyi saglamaktir. Yapilan eserler ya da performanslar; fotograflar, video kayitlari, eskizler ve afisler araciligiyla izleyicisiyle bulusmustur. Bircok proje bu amaca dogru bir sekilde hizmet etmis ve cevreye zarar vermeyen duyarli sanat eserleri ortaya konmustur. Ancak cikis noktasiyla celisen ve cevresel sorunlara farkindalik saglamayi amaclarken sorunun kendisi haline gelen orneklerde gormek mumkundur. Bu olumsuz ornekler kendinden sonraki farkli yaklasimlara, akimlara zemin hazirlamistir
