Abstract

It has recently become evident that holography has an important part to play in the recovery of information from photographic records which have been accidentally blurred. Practical implementation of holographic methods is, however, often very difficult. An important source of difficulty is the fact that two photographic plates have to be registered extremely accurately to one another. This note described how this difficulty has been circumvented by using a single photographic plate to do the job previously done to two.
