Abstract

The wave-vector dependent susceptibility function of paramagnetic nickel is investigated using a noninteracting band model which is based on the APW band-structure calculations of Hanus. The effect of exchange enhancement of the susceptibility function is also studied. The results are found in good agreement with other existing theoretical calculations.
