The polymers were characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, 1 H-NMR, 29 Si CP/MAS NMR, GPC, and UV. The number average molecular weights of these two polymers are between 1400 and 1600. Abstract

Novel polysilanes, antimony-substituted polysilanes (APS) and iron-substituted polysilanes (IPS), were synthesized and characterized in this paper.
