This review report is conducted to analyze and understand the impact of childhood trauma on an individual. Systematic review of the different researches conducted on the association of childhood trauma with offending behaviour revealed that those who were victims of childhood trauma were convicted for different crimes in adulthood. Abstract
Researches indicate interlink between traumatic experiences in childhood and offending behaviour in later stages of life. Further findings revealed that there was high significance of a specific type of trauma leading to criminality in convicted adults.
