Abstract

The Lebanese film Capernaum is directed by Lebanese director Nadine Labaki, and features a 12-year-old Lebanese boy living in a slum. It begins with the court’s case between the boy and his parents who only gave birth to him, reflects a series of ordeal of him in the Lebanese slums and the capital Beirut with cross slips and finally ends up with leaving the Lebanon with a passport in real life to leave Lebanon for Norway.
