Abstract

The rapid growth in Multimedia application over the Internet has put considerable pressure on existing hardware system for information transmission and retrieval over the bandlimited channel. To deal with huge data volume of multimedia application, image coding is a viable solution. This paper proposed image coding scheme based on dual tree complex wavelet transform (DT-CWT).
