Abstract
In order to diagnose and locate the defected site of two main sensorineural hearing loss which were cochlear hearing loss and retrocochlear hearing loss, a technique that based on AR spectrum analysis for the signals of Transient Evoked Otoacoustic Emissions (TEOAE) and TEOAE suppressed by Contralateral Acoustic Stimulation (CAS) was proposed. Firstly, normal ranges of the two curves which reflecting the information of relationship of TEOAE's logarithm AR spectrum with frequency and the relationship of the suppressed TEOAE's logarithm AR spectrum with frequency for the normal hearing ears were obtained. Then the subject's logarithm AR spectrum with frequency and the suppressed logarithm AR spectrum with frequency curves were compared with the two normal-hearing curves' range respectively. The sensorineural hearing loss disease could be diagnosed and the defected site could be further located. A comparison was made between this technique and other clinical integration methods, and results were comparatively consistent.
