It has been established that the force of fluid pressure is the main source of friction in the sealing unit, the value of which depends on the pressure of the working medium, the coefficient of friction of the cuff material and the size of the contact surface of the seal. Abstract

The issues of optimizing the parameters of a hydraulic hammer on the basis of differentiating a complex impulse system into subsystems by drawing up differential equations for all bodies participating in motion and using the theorem on changing the kinetic energy and momentum are considered. It has been established that the force of fluid pressure is the main source of friction in the sealing unit, the value of which depends on the pressure of the working medium, the coefficient of friction of the cuff material and the size of the contact surface of the seal.
