Abstract

Carbon fiber composite are used in various fields for its good properties, such as high strengthto-weight ratio and rigidity. In order to obtain high reliability of the composite, non-destructive detections are undertaken during fabrication and in application. An eddy current sensor was used to inspect defects in carbon fiber composite plates. The defects were drilled holes in various diameters through or not through the plates.
