Innovative approach to assessing the political and economic stability of Russian statehood (on the example of the reign of Alexander I)

Abstract

The purpose of the article. The research conducted by the author of the article is aimed at identifying the main aspects and factors of the stability of the Russian state during the reign of Alexander I. The subject of the study was the political and economic features and the foundations of the stability of the Russian statehood in the period from 1801 to 1825. Materials and methods. The methodological basis of the research was made up of such general scientific and private scientific methods as analysis and synthesis, classification and generalization, discourse analysis, comparative historical analysis, economic and statistical methods, as well as a secondary analysis of previously conducted research on the stated problems. Results. The author of the study highlights the main crisis stages in the development of the stability of Russian statehood and describes (defines) the ways and decisions taken to overcome the crisis and post-crisis recovery. Application. The results obtained in the course of the study will contribute to the development of a conceptual justification for the transition to a new stage of economic and social development of the country, and can also be used for further research on the sustainability of Russian statehood.
