Abstract

This research was conducted in Biskang Village, Danau Paris District, and Aceh Singkil District. The purpose of this study is to find out how the democratic leadership strategy is carried out in managing village-owned enterprises by the Director of Biskang Village BUM. As for the vision of realizing the welfare of the village community through developing tourist areas and managing village assets, with the common motto of building villages and the mission to improve the village economy, increase community businesses in managing village economic potential, increase village community income and village original income, and manage incoming program funds to the village in the form of a revolving fund, especially in the context of alleviating poverty and developing rural economic enterprises, The type of research used is the descriptive method with qualitative data management, namely the method used to dissect a phenomenon or event and describe it in the form of sentences and language based on findings in the field. The results of this study indicate that the leadership style carried out by the director of BUM Biskang Village in the management of village-owned enterprises in Biskang Village has been carried out democratically. responsibility for the whole structure. There is a process of developing skills in supporting performance. There is a process of cooperation in achieving a goal. This has been done in order to achieve a democratic leadership style in managing BUM Desa Biskang.
