Abstract

The prediction of hydrodynamic characteristics and motion responses is investigated numerically with CFD software FLUENT and self-developed program. Variations of resistance, lift and moment under the condition of the air effect is considered or not at different Froude numbers are numerically simulated. Predicted results show that the lift and moment change obviously when the air effect is included.
