Abstract
The use of molten salt in the pressurised liquid continuous vulcanisation system enables most of the disadvantages of steam continuous vulcanisation to be overcome. To reduce the time needed to introduce this novel process into production a computer was used to simulate the pressurised liquid continuous vulcanisation system. Computer simulation can greatly reduce the costs of introducing new processes.
