Paul Desenne is a Latin American composer whose musical mestizaje is the essence of the richness and creativity behind his music. This conversation is an invitation to Paul Desenne to reflect more on the experiences and philosophies that have shaped his artistic life. From a composer’s point of view, Desenne shares his opinions about magical realism, his radio program Alzheimer, urban music, Latin American musics, the employment of humor in music, and postmodernism in some of his works.
