Abstract

This series follows two earlier sequences on the measurement of individual psychological differences. These were entitled ‘Heroes, landmarks and blind alleys in personality assessment’ which appeared inADMbetween Summer 2014 and Autumn 2016 and ‘Pioneers and landmarks in intelligence testing’ launched in Spring 2017 and ending in Winter 2019.This series will be tracking the many developments in our understanding of implicit and explicit motivation, and the implications for assessment and development in the workplace.
