Abstract

: Moral aspects of the crisis of Roman Empire from the perspective of latin breviators . Throughout its existence, the Roman Empire experienced difficult periods. One such period took place between 235-284, when there were numerous usurpations, barbarian invasions, secessionist movements, civil wars, etc. In historiographical sources, this period is known as the crisis of the Roman Empire in the mid-III rd century. Within the following pages we have set out to analyze information from the works of Latin historians of the IV th century - Aurelius Victor, Eutropius, Festus and Pseudo-Aurelius Victor. Specifically, we have looked at the moral aspects of the crisis of the Roman Empire found in the works written by these four historians.
