The results showed that the density of the plant population that was too dense had an effect on the decline in several growth components but showed the highest average ILD value. Whereas treatment with population density that was not too high or by using spacing that was tenuous gave the best effect on the variables of plant height, number of tillers and number of leaves. Abstract

Research was conducted in Limau Manis, Padang City of West Sumatra. The experimental design used was a non-factorial randomized block design. Job’s tears used in this study is a cultivar of beras.
