ESTIMATION OF THE ETHNO-CULTURAL ADAPTATION OF CHILDREN FROM FAMILIES OF MIGRANTS BY SPECIALISTS OF SOCIAL ORGANIZATIONS

Abstract

. The article presents the results of the study which covers the social workers’ assessment of the migration situation in Russia and the problems of children from migrant families that arise in the process of their ethno-cultural adaptation. The study was conducted using the method of a written survey – a survey of 142 social workers. Typical, from the point of view of social workers, problems of migrant children, the conditions and effectiveness of ethno-cultural adaptation of children from migrant families and the most frequently used activities in social organizations, aimed at helping the family and migrant children, were identified.
