Abstract

The purpose of this article is to determine what the image of the lord and the peasant looked like in the past in Cieszyn Silesia, how the peasant was perceived, as well as the lord, what were their mutual relations. The research material was Józef Ondrzusz’s publication Przysłowia i przymówiska ludowe ze Śląska Cieszyńskiego.
