Abstract

Paralympic Games will impact the performance of athletes. Yannick de Korte and his colleagues designed and performed the Thermo Tokyo study to examine the impact of the Tokyo-like environmental conditions on the performance in Dutch elite athletes. The cover depicts Glenn Schuurman – a famous Dutch field hockey player – participating in Thermo Tokyo. The rational and design of the Thermo Tokyo study are described in this issue of Temperature.
