Abstract

Esta contribución analiza la historia del Consulado General de Chile en España a través de las trayectorias y las actividades de los cónsules generales entre 1886 y 1931. Para la reconstrucción de estas funciones profesionales se ha consultado la documentación existente en diferentes archivos, principalmente en el Archivo Histórico Nacional de Madrid, memorias de organismos oficiales e informaciones de prensa.
