The Nevada Votes! Web site: Media reform comes to Nevada

Abstract

Staff of the University of Nevada, Reno's public radio station and libraries developed a Web site for Nevada campaign and election information. The site, which accepted no advertising, included information on over 200 candidates, voting records, interactive maps, and historical information. Development of the site is discussed, as is voters' need for accurate and unbiased information.
