Formación y perfil profesional de los médicos del Ejército Argentino a principios del siglo XX

Abstract

The work aims at the training and professional profile of Argentine Army doctors at the beginning of the twentieth century. These doctors were a group of health professionals incorporated into the Army as advanced medical students or after graduating from university. The work shows what the theoretical and practical knowledge they had to possess to fulfill their medical and military functions in peace and wartime. The topic is discussed with a qualitative methodology applied to military institutional sources of the time.
