Abstract

Floating layers of N,N'-di(3,5-dimethylphenyl)diimide of 1,1'-binaphthyl-4,4',5,5',8,8'-hexacarboxylic acid (bis(3,5-(CH 3 ) 2 Ph)Cub) and Langmuir-Schaefer films of this compound on quartz and silicon substrates were ob-tained.
